Data Privacy
General information
The protection of your personal data is very important to me. EvaGruber.org (hereafter „I“) processes your data exclusively on the basis of legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy I inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within my webpage.
When you visit my webpage, the server registers information that your browser sends automatically every time you visit a webpage. These entries may include information about your search query, the web address, the IP address, the browser used, the language of the browser, the time and date of the request, and one or more cookies that uniquely identify your browser.
Any data you provide or have been automatically logged upon registration will only be transferred to third parties without your consent, to the extent required by law or court decision or disclosure in the event of attacks on my internet infrastructure for legal or law enforcement purposes is required. A transfer for other non-commercial or commercial purposes is not processed.
The transferred data may be used by third party service providers solely for the purpose for which I have provided them.
This privacy policy is updated to reflect current circumstances.
Cookies
My webpage uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do no harm.
I use cookies to make my offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow me to recognize your browser on your next visit.
If you do not want this, you can set up your browser to notify you about cookies, and you will only allow this on a case by case basis.
Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of my webpage.
Web analysis
My webpage uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA („Google“). For this purpose, cookies are used that allow an analysis of the use of the webpage by its users. The information generated thereby is transmitted to the server of Google and stored there.
You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. I have concluded a corresponding contract for order data processing with the provider.
Your IP address will be collected but pseudonymized immediately (by deleting the last 8 bits). This makes it impossible to trace the data back to an individual.
The data processing is based on the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or Article 6 (1) (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
My concern within the meaning of the GDPR (short for “General Data Protection Regulation”; legitimate interest) is the improvement of my offer and my website. Since the privacy of my users is important to me, the user data is pseudonymized.
The user data is kept for a period of 38 months.

Use of the mail service provider „MailChimp“
You have the opportunity to subscribe to my newsletter here. For this I need your email address, your first name and surname as well as your declaration, that you agree with the subscription to the newsletter.
The newsletter will be sent via MailChimp, a newsletters distribution platform owned by Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
The email addresses of our mailing recipients, as well as their other data described in these notes, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information for sending and evaluating the mailings on my behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of the mailings or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our mailing recipients to contact them or to pass them on to third parties.
I trust the reliability, IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU privacy shield Privacy Shield, and is committed to complying with EU privacy regulations. Furthermore, I have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp commits to protect the data of my users, to process it in accordance with its privacy policy on my behalf and in particular not to pass it on to third parties. You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation by email or click directly in the newsletter on „unsubscribe“. I will immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
Using Google Fonts
In order to attractively design the use of my webpage, I use external fonts from Google Fonts. These are provided by the Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA („Google“) servers when visiting the webpage. Google does not use cookies to provide the service. However, I do not know if the IP address of the user’s device is being transmitted to Google and stored. For more information about privacy at Google, please see the Google Privacy Policy.
Legal basis/General Data Protection Regulation
In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will apply from May 25, 2018, I inform you that the consents to sending the email addresses are based on Art. 6 (1) (a). The use of the mail service provider MailChimp, carrying out the statistical surveys and analyzes as well as logging the registration process, are based on my legitimate interests. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. I am interested in using a user-friendly and secure newsletter system, which serves both my business interests and the expectations of the users.
I further point out that you can contradict the future processing of your personal data in accordance with the statutory requirements. Art. 21 GDPR at any time. The objection may in particular be made against processing for direct marketing purposes.
Your rights
You are entitled in principle to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and opposition. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in a way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
