Why are bad habits so easy to stick to?

Some days ago, I shared with you [on LinkedIn] how difficult it feels for so many of us to stop a bad habit. Today, let’s dig a little deeper.
- Habits are automated, easy behavior.
- About 6+ hours of your day are dominated by them.
- Even more surprisingly, 40% of your daily actions are unconscious.
So, one could say if it wasn’t for our family and friends, we wouldn’t even know that we have them!?!?
What’s up next?
If I am not sure if a habit is good or bad, I ask myself:
“What is this habit stopping me from?”
If the answer is significant, I should try to change this habit, right?
