If your body is in pain, you use a crutch or train your muscles to feel better. But if your mind is in pain, you weren’t aware you could build mental muscles, right!?
In one of my recent coaching sessions, my client and I picked up on the topic of pain versus suffering. This is our message to you:
We do not only feel initial pain, like deep sadness due to a fight with our friend or spouse.
- We tend to stay in this sadness.
- We beat ourselves up with self-judgment.
- We spiral down, deepening our suffering.
Today, I want you to know that you do not have to “keep your hand on the hot stove”!
I want you to realize that you can build your own crutch helping you face all your negative emotions – like stress, anger, shame, or insecurity.
The crutch you can use is called your Mental Fitness and Good Habits to make e.g. your relationships healthier and happier!
